Talking about Esha is our favourite thing to do. But listening to this chat made us realise that this conversation, these subjects - they are important.
Esha (www.braillecards.org and www.clabil.org) is an initiative by volunteers to make life better for the blind. We use the word blind because its neutral. There is no disability, challenge or special ability attached to this. We are blind means we cannot see. Period. Just like you are sighted means you can see. You can access the online library directly at www.braillecards.org/audio.htm

Food4Thought Foundation recognises Esha's efforts in promoting reading
When you get a call and the person on the other side says, "We have researched your work and we would like you to nominate yourself for this recognition", the first response is gratitude.
The entire process of nomination to the award ceremony was such a beautiful, positive experience. This is how awards and recognitions should be conducted. It is an honour to get this recognition.
You can see this event here: 3rd india reading olympiad 2021~Virtual Award Ceremony | Facebook
The event was conducted on January 23rd. We just waited to share our happiness. :)

Daanotsava 2019 - Why Volunteering is pure magic
On the occasion of Daanotsava, Bloomberg Quint carries a special story on why volunteerism is so core to the ethos of Esha.
In this story, the founder of Esha shares the reason why we believe so passionately in the power of volunteerism, and the magic that has been created by volunteers over the years. To each one of you - THIS!
Special thanks to Venkat Krishnan, the founder of Joy of Giving / Daanotsava, and the entire Bloomberg team. I know they worked late into the night on this story. Thank you so much!
Minutes after the story was live, we received congratulatory messages from friends who had seen it in the WhatsApp feed of Bloomberg Quint. I will upload that picture soon too.
It was a precious day for us. :)
